Cetero Adds CAO, Biometrics VP

Michael C. Fillios has been named chief administrative officer of Cetero Research, with leadership responsibility and oversight of human resources, information technology, project management, marketing and client services. David Coggin has been named vice president, Biometrics. He will oversee the operational management of PK/PD, data management, biostatistics and medical writing services. Both positions report directly to chief executive officer Troy W. McCall, Ph.D.

Mr. Fillios is a 21-year veteran of industries spanning pharmaceutical manufacturing, industrial engineering and management consulting. He was most recently responsible for strategic business relationship management and process, as well as enterprise technology integration and all global business functions at ITT Corp.

Mr. Coggin has nearly 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and clinical research industries. He was most recently at Covance, where he held the role of global head, Early Clinical Services, Clinical Data Management within the company’s Clinical Data, Analysis and Reporting Organization. He has held leadership positions at Covance for the past 17 years, where he was responsible for the overall performance of biostatistics, data management, medical writing and programming services.
